From the commencement of Bromsgrove Steel’s involvement within construction projects, our team works closely with architects and structural engineers to produce precision made structures which optimise construction processes.

With our onsite team holding the relevant CPCS, CSCS, and IPAF certifications, we offer precast installation and installation of our products, to aid this process further.

For the installation process to be as refined, efficient, and cost-effective as possible, the goods to be installed must be manufactured in consideration of their surrounding environment; this includes site access and ingress and egress points, trial erection, and prefabrication operations to aid a quick installation with minimal onsite work. Bromsgrove Steel undertakes the manufacturing of structural steel with these considerations in mind, fabricating products to support the construction process from the start.

The HSE highlights several hazardous areas whilst installing structural steel; these include: falls from a height; falling materials; being struck by moving steel members or decking packs; structural collapse whilst erection is still in progress; manual handling of materials and equipment; and the overturning of cranes, MEWPs, and other heavy equipment. The handling of harmful substances, such as electricity and paints, as well as trapping hazards and noise and vibrations, may also cause harm and should be acknowledged whilst installing structural steel.

The risk of these accidents can be minimised through identification of hazards, and measures put in place during pre-construction stages to avoid them.

Bromsgrove Steel can provide precast installation and installation of steel structures, such as metal decks. Our steel erectors are fully qualified and experienced working onsite in conjunction with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and builders. We can perform site surveys from initial project beginnings, manufacturing products in line with the specifications with the use of CAD and CNC facilities.

With the assistance of our multiple forms of transportation, including 6 wheel Hiab Lorry Cranage, Bromsgrove Steel provides the safe delivery of products to site, as well as onsite handling.

Delivery can be further coordinated to site, with the possibility of staged deliveries if required by clients, so as to minister to project timescales where possible. Our services can be provided nationwide, with all kinds of UKCA marked steel, up to execution class 2.
