Our joining capabilities ensure we can assemble precision sections to form complete or partially constructed structures.

We can further complete welding as part of our site services to assist the construction process of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings and facilities.

A welded joint has excellent strength, providing a permanent joint which is completely rigid. For these reasons, welding provides a suitable joining method for many connections within a steel structure. Bromsgrove Steel offers welding services for the range of structural steel products we create, ensuring our clients receive a safe and durable, stable structure.

After a site survey to determine the requirements of each project, Bromsgrove Steel can then provide an exhaustive fabrication process, undertaken in consideration of project specifications. Our engineers work in conjunction with architects and structural engineers, providing connection design and design advice to resolve any potential construction or manufacturing difficulties.

Metal Inert Gas (MIG) welding and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding are the most common forms of welding within the fabrication of structural steel.

MIG welding is an arc welding process which uses a wire electrode, to generate an electric arc between the electrode and the metal to be welded. The arc heats and melts the wire electrode, forming a join. The wire electrode is continuously fed as it melts.

TIG welding is another arc welding method, utilising an electric arc between an electrode and the metal to be welded. However, during TIG welding, the electrode is not consumed - melting the metal to be welded instead. This weld pool is then protected by an inert shielding gas.

The experienced engineers at Bromsgrove Steel further perform cutting and drilling, and rolling and bending in addition to welding operations. We offer finishing services to ensure products are suitable for their application, whether protected against external environmental factors, or to meet a design brief. Using only UKCA marked steel, and completing quality checks prior to dispatch, Bromsgrove Steel ensures all project specifications and requirements are met.

Our various forms of transportation enable us to safely deliver products to site, on time. We can do this for clientele across the country.

Bromsgrove Steel’s welding and further manufacturing services are provided for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We fabricate all types of structures, including frames for buildings; ingress and egress features; flooring; gates; fencing; doors; alongside bespoke structures.

Bromsgrove Steel can provide all types of structural steel welding and steel structures for residential outbuildings, warehouses and garden rooms.
