Our experienced engineers provide design advice prior to the construction process, to ensure all structural elements are viable and optimised for their application, before manufacturing products to exacting specifications.

Bromsgrove Steel works alongside structural engineers and builders to determine the requirements for individual warehouses, whether for fabricating the structural frame or for additional features such as steel doors or stairs. We prioritise client satisfaction, delivering precision products on time and within budget.

There are several types of warehouses, including distribution centres, public, private, and bonded warehouses. These units store goods in preparation for manufacturing, exportation, or sale. Steel is a primary material choice for the construction of warehouses, being an affordable, durable material which maintains stability across long spans. For this reason, Bromsgrove Steel specialises in structural steel, applicable for warehouses.

When erecting or further developing a warehouse, there are a multitude of things to consider. Not only should the budget and timescale of the project be considered, but the overall design for the warehouse. Luckily, the construction, extension, or modification of a warehouse is considered permitted development in the UK and therefore will not require an application for planning permission if it falls within this criteria.

When designing a warehouse, consider the operation of the warehouse - including ingress and egress of materials, loading and unloading trucks, and employees; the storage and transferal of inventory within the warehouse is also critical to the layout of the warehouse, as well as leaving room for retrieval equipment to manoeuvre. Alongside the size and layout, another consideration includes material choice for the construction of the warehouse.

    At Our Steel Warehouses

Bromsgrove Steel supplies an expansive manufacturing service; starting with a site survey to determine specifications and requirements, the engineers at Bromsgrove Steel can then perform a full fabrication process to manufacture products up to execution class 2. Our services include cutting, rolling and bending, coded welding as managed by an inhouse welding coordinator, and a range of finishing services. Bromsgrove Steel further provide inhouse trial erections and quality checks to ensure our UKCA marked steel products are suitable for their application within a warehouse.

An array of transportation, including Hiab Lorry Cranage, is then employed by Bromsgrove Steel for delivery services, as well as onsite services. Our onsite engineers hold CSCS and CPCS certifications, and can safely and efficiently perform installation and erection of our products. Bromsgrove Steel further offers these services nationwide.

For the development and construction of warehouses, Bromsgrove Steel can fabricate all types of steel, so as to provide our clients with the most suitable product for their application.
